Today we welcome visitors from the Manaiakalani schools in Auckland.
The whole school welcomed them with a powhiri. They gave koha which was
exciting. Then after that the Kaiarahi was allowed to show them around the school.
I was so proud to show them our school but it was pretty embarrassing saying
my pepeha in front of all the principals.

ReplyDeleteby your post about the manaiakalani group. I enjoyed reading this because our school works with them to. By reading this i can get some ideas about what their lives actually are like. Next time you should just pick up your hoe of kaha and just ask a mete to help you.
