The maze

We are learning to give directions in Maori.
The directions are go straight, go up, go down and stop.
Our task was to complete the maze with my eyes closed. my friend was by me saying the directions.
I found this funny because my friend was mostly trying to make me crash into the walls.
My next step is to do more harder ones then this one.

Sports day

Last term on the last day we had a sports day at school. The sports were soccer, rugby and netball. The soccer people were down on the junior field. the rugby people were across the road on the rugby field. The netball people were on the netball court. The sport I chose was soccer but if there was basketball I would have chose basketball. At lunch time we had some sausage sizzles and some ice blocks but we had to buy them. My games were after lunch cause the junior and middle had to do their games in the morning and after morning tea. I scored a few goals. My best goal was from halfway across the field. At the end we all went up top then went back home.

I enjoyed writing down the script and saying it out.
The hard thing was some of the words I had to keep on practicing a few times. I cracked it anyways.

We have been planning for our assembly and this was one of our items.
It was easy making the video but we just winged the actions.
The hard thing was finding a song for us.

Title:The Megalodon

The Megalodons scientific name is a Carcharodon Megalodon. The family is otodontidae. Most Megalodons lived in Australia.

Habitat
It use to live in the deep blue sea and lived mostly in the coast of america. The littles one lived in the shallow but not too shallow. They mostly liked staying where the whales stay.

Appearance
The megalodon was about 59 feet maximum. It has white at the bottom and grey at the top so it can camouflage from the top and bottom. Their largest teeth are about 6 inches.

Diet
They love eating large whales, marine mammals and sea lions. Megalodons like eating large fish. They also like large whales like killer whales and whale sharks and that.

Behavior
Megalodons have a really bad behavior they were the most dangerous sharks ever. They mostly eat every marine mammal in the ocean. If you look through a microscope yo will be able to see scales that make them swim very fast in the water.

Life cycle
They start off inside a egg then hatch inside the mummy shark then comes like how humans are born. There pups were believed to be 2-4 metres long. Most pups stayed in the shallow water and in the warm water.

I wish the megalodon wasn't extinct so I can see it live even though it's big as and scary. I wonder how megalodons become extinct. What would happen if they didn't become extinct?.

Student conference

We have done this last week and we had to show our parents what we do in class. I enjoyed making this slide for my parents. It was pretty hard making this slide cause i couldn't find much photos.

The great white shark

This is my reading activity I have started last week. The fun thing was that it was a bit easy. The hard thing was finding some of the info.
