Te Reo week 7

This term we been learning our Te Reo with Whaea Whetu. I think its been fun doing these lessons in class.

My weekend

In the weekends on Saturday we had a game of soccer up at Bay of Islands College. We versed this team from Kerikeri but I forgot there name. Anyways the first half was pretty intense we manged to block all there goals and they blocked all our goals. In the second half they scored 2 goals but in the last minute I managed to score a corner goal. In the end they still won by 1 nil but I think it was a pretty alright game for me. On Sunday I went with my cousin Pardrae to Simpson park to do some Kapa Haka we had to recap on all the haka's he taught us in the past year. After that we had a feed then went outside to play some touch. We saw these kids riding on there motorbikes and they crashing into each other on purpose. Then I scored a few tries in touch then we finished off and then went home.

Waitangi project

Last week on Thursday we did a project called Raranga Matihiko. Whaea Keri and Whaea Imogen came and taught our class how to yous this site called scratch. I reckon it's a pretty all goods site to use. They also came and showed us this game when you have a mover and a person who tells you where to move to next. What you need is a checkered mat but not to big some triangle blocks that are about the size of your arm and some playing cards. The point of the game was to put the cards in a square on the mat faced down and try to get your block to one of the cards. If you get the number 10 card you win and if you also have the less moves to your card. Anyways we got to on paint 3D to make a  background for our scratch. Then we took a photo on the green screen then added it to our scratch. After that me and Qaiden made our scratch about ANZAC And yeah that's mostly all we did on Thursday so yeah.

Free writing.

In the weekend my nephew Freeman came down for a visit. It was the first time I seen him in like a year now. But sadly he was only down here for 2 days but it was worth it. I can't believe how much he's grown since the last time I seen him. He came down with boxes with loads of food in them. We mostly just kicked back playing games like 24/7. He also shouted me and him some butter chicken and pizza. But sadly that day he had to go back to his course but It was a fun time with him back in town.

My camp last week

This is my camp at Lonsdale Park in Whangaroa. It was fun meeting some new people and also meet some of my old friends. The drills and stuff were fun as I really enjoyed the walk in the bush.
